Assets Object Type Inheritance

Hey Community,

Worth a shot to ask here but I think I know the answer...

External Imports - Schema and mapping states I can't configure inheritance for object types.

I am building a script to migrate Asset Schemas from one site to another. I've completed the script, yet I run into the issue of attribute inheritance. Is there a way to toggle or configure inheritance with REST APIs that anyone knows of? The only method I can think of is updating my object type attributes, then going into the UI with selenium clicking that checkbox for the object type and then continuing to the next object type.

Yes, that's what I would do.  Set the schemas/objects manually with the proper attributes and then populate them with a script. It's the safest way to ensure that you get the correct values.  

You may be able to trial apps from the marketplace that may allow you to copy and import a schema so take a look there.  Trial it, get it done and then remove the app so that you don't have to pay for the full price.
