Automation to link 2 different issues if the customfield matches in both of them

Hello, 

Is it possible to link 2 different issues if they contains exact the same value in the same customfield_CandidateName?

Example:

The issue with a issue type "IT Help" will be sitting in jira queue with a customfield_CandidateName = "Adam Adam". Whenever a new issue is created with a issue type "Onboarding" and the same exact customfield_CandidateName = "Adam Adam", we will need to link these both. 

I've tried a bunch of different automations, but none of them worked as expected. We don't have scriptrunner, so that option isn't available.
