I am testing Jira Service Desk to try creating a new procurement process: employees send a request, managers approve, developers develop, really easy.
The request will contain information like requested object, cost, etc.
What solution would you suggest to automatically fetch those info (possibly once the request has been approved) and show them in a Report or even better dashboard?
Thanks.
Alex,
You can try VisualScript for Jira, and use the standard built-in grid report. In there you can add additional display values within each shape (request). I am assuming object, cost, etc are fields. This report will live right inside your Jira dashboard, and will provide data in real time on refresh.
How many requests will you report off of at any given time? If there are a lot, and you want to visualize these requests in more of a table format that is not in a dashboard, you can try an application like Structure from Almworks.
Both apps are linked below.
Best,
Evan - VisualScript Product Manager
