Can't configure Sub-task screen; "Configure" is a dead link, and a separate screen doesn’t work.

Seenivasan K March 13, 2025

I am working on a service project with four levels of issue types:

  • Level 2 Epic
  • Level 1 Epic
  • Story level
  • Sub-task

The issue I’m facing is that I can't configure the screen for the Sub-task issue type to add custom fields. When I click "Configure," it leads to a dead link. I even created a separate screen for the Sub-task, but it still doesn’t work. How can I fix this?

Hi @Seenivasan K , thanks for your post.

I agree it is strange you are getting a dead link there.

However, it should also be possible to configure the fields that appear on those screens here

Please can you try this and see if you manage to modify the screens?

Best wishes

Hi @Seenivasan K

In a JSM project type it is not possible to use field layout options.

I suspect that is what you want to accomplish?
