Can you create an Automation rule that changes the status of Objects in "insight"?

Are you able to create an automation rule that changes the Status of an Object in "insight" when a issue transitions. For context, we use Jira Service Management for Satellites. We have an issue type called "Satellite" to track what stage it is in. We also have a Satellite Object Type in "insight". What i would like to do is when the "Satellite" issue transitions from one stage in the workflow to another( lets say Open-in-progress), i want the Object to also change its status from open- in-progress. 

I know there are Insight automation actions but struggling to use them.

Thanks for the reply. I kinda get it but in my case, the satellite is an object but does not have an insight field with it.
