I've successfully established the HubSpot-JIRA connection and aim to generate a JIRA ticket whenever a new ticket is created in HubSpot. However, I'm encountering an issue within the HubSpot workflow, where the available issue types for the project are limited compared to the broader range in the JIRA project issue types. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter.

Hi @Appu Murugan, and welcome to the community.
As you do not see all available issue types within Hubspot, I assume that talking to the Hubspot support about their JIra integration is a better approach to resolving this. Or start by searching the Hubspot community as I did a second ago. You can find existing questions about this issue in the Hubspot community, e.g., JIRA "Issue type" not showing
I quote the response:
it sounds like some of your Jira issue types are unavailable in HubSpot.
Basically what this means is that the missing issue types are unsupported.
This can happen when the Jira issues have required fields. You can change your configuration on create issues for these types in Jira.
To do so, you have to change the configuration through your Jira site.
To find out which JIRA issue types have required fields, please click on "Associate a JIRA Issue" and then click on "Create a New JIRA issue". Select "Regulatory" and then you'll see a "Some of your Jira issue types are unavailable in HubSpot" message.
Click on "Learn More" to get a summary of which Jira issues have a required field. Change the configuration in JIRA and you should be good to go 🙂
If you would like live assistance to diagnose if this is a required field issue, I would recommend connecting with HubSpot Technical Support, as Support is included in your subscription and they will be able to provide real-time assistance for this matter.
Best,
Kristen
Now, you should be able to find out where your problem is in the configuration. :)
Best,
Max
