Hi everyone,
I want to show different checklists(created by using plugin) based on the request type selected. Is there any way to achieve it?
I know we can do it by using context but if the request types are in the same issue type how can we do it in that case.
Thanks in advance.
Hi @Sai Gangadhar ,
Unfortunately, our app cannot, for the moment, distinguish between different Request Types since indeed they are all based on the same issue type. We are aware of the need and have this in our backlog. Unfortunately, I cannot give you a timeframe for this.
Regards,
Yves
Which App is it?
In case it is Smart Checklist (guessing based on your description) - it's possible to set Checklists using Automation - see their help documents
You could set the JQL condition to be based on "Request Type" rather than Issue Type, thus allowing you to apply different checklists in different types.
If this is not the App you're using, let us know which one it is so we can research further :)

Hi @Ste Wright
I'm using Checklist for Jira PFB link.

I'd contact the vendor for this one - see their support options here
I can't see anything specific on this in their documentation. Each App is different so you'd need to check with them to see if this type of functionality is available.
