Hi, I'm looking to create a new 'Request Type' in Jira Service Desk (Cloud) for our Facilities Request group. I would like to create a form that expands the necessary fields, depending the type of issue reported (ie. Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Lighting, etc). Is there a way for me to create a check list or drop down menu that allows the user to select the initial problem and then expands the pertaining detail fields that we want to collect? For instance, if I select Air Conditioning, I would also want the user to tell me the location of where it's not working and if it's too hot or too cold. Is it possible to have this type of functionality in a request form?
My concern is that we have a lot of potential issues that the users can report on, but depending on which they select, we want to capture additional information to cut down on the back and forth. Maybe there's another way to solve the issue?
Or, is there a way to Embed a field within another field?
