Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 21:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×We use the Jira Cloud integration with our Slack so that it posts updates from the service desk into a particular channel. This has been working without fail until Wednesday (maybe possibly late on Tuesday) and since then new tickets and any updates to tickets are no longer posting to the channel.
Unfortunately, this was set up before my time so ideally looking for some advice on what things I should be checking to try and resolve the issue - I don't think anything has been changed by any our Jira admins with regards to the Slack integration.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Hey @Adam Waterhouse - PM for the integration here 👋
If you go into the Slack channel and type
/jira manage
do you see any active subscriptions set up for your project into that channel? Anyone (non-admins included) should be able to set up a new subscription if there isn't one there.
If the subscription is still there, it's possible someone muted it or changed the configuration settings for it. Double check how it's configured and if it's muted or not.
Hope this helps
Trevor
Hi @TR ,
Thanks for the reply, I tried that but it didn't work. I did manage to find muted apps, and it was listed there but not in installed apps even after I unmuted it which is strange.
Looks like I'll just have to add the app to our workspace again.
Thanks again!
Adam

@Trevor Thompson one more thing, hopefully, when logging in to set it up through Slack which email account does it need to use? My line manager is the 'project lead' for the project we have/had linked to the channel, or should it be whichever email account was used to create the Jira/Atlassian account initially?
