Hello

I hope someone can help me here.

We have JIRA version 8.13.1 in use.

LDAP entries as far as we know all go to domain.com and not to explicit servers.

However, if I turn off a domain controller, JIRA response times become extremely slow. Is this problem known? Is there a solution approach? Turning off AD services on a domain controller results in the same effects.

We have 4 domain controllers in use.

Total domain pressure Windows Server 2008 R2

Hi @Henning Röhle,

Thanks for your question!

Jira doesn't support connecting to multiple AD servers.

You may refer to this Redundant LDAP is Not Supported documentation, which explains the reason for this.

Regarding your question about the performance issue, it is expected, because Jira relies on the user's cache to check permissions, users, groups, and all related matters.
