Hi there, we were trying to move JIRA Software and Service Desk to a new server. We followed all the instructions. JIRA Software is fine, with all its plugins. Service Desk is ok from the inside, but the customer portal does not come up. See image below.
What did we miss?

looks like the JSON doesn't get fed into the portal engine. I wonder if it's because the portal URL wasn't updated or something along those lines.
It's a silly question but have you tried unistalling and reinstalling JSD?
Also, if you create a new test JSD project, do you experience the same problem?
thanks for your quick answer. Unfortunately I couldn't find a portal URL, however the BASE_URL of JIRA is correctly set. To rule this out I grepped for the old URL and didn't find it in any of the files.
Creating a new JSD project, didn't succeed. The project page is empty, only the Atlassian footer shows up.
Tried to uninstall JSD without data, that didn't work. Then I uninstalled with purging data option and now it does not show up in the applications :) I will continue to work on it and get back with details.
The old server still runs everything, this is only a test moving to prepare ourselves.
