The new issue view was missing the ability to sort comments so the newest were at the top. However, this functionality was provided a couple of days ago to my great joy, only to appear to have gone again today?
Has anyone else experienced this? What's the status with this as I'll need to inform by users as it's very confusing at the moment.
Hello,
[UPDATED 8/4/2021]
The background issue that made us stop releasing this feature is still not 100% solved, so the roll-out didn't restart yet.
This was already mentioned in the last status update on JRACLOUD-73076:
Due to an issue that prevented some customers from being able to mention other users, we had to temporary disable the option to sort the comments in the new issue view. We are continuing to investigate this issue. We will provide updates as they are available via this issue record.
As well as in the status-page for Jira Core, Jira Software and Jira Service Management:
Please follow JRACLOUD-73076 or subscribe to the status page incident for updates:
Cheers,
Dario

Hi Dario,
Thanks for the information and the link. Unfortunately, I'm still not seeing the option in Chrome 89 or Firefox 85 on Windows.
I tried clearing incognito mode, so it's not a cache/cookies issue. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks

First positive change in Jira interface in ... forever ... and they take it away. Completely in line with universally poor Atlassian customer responsiveness.

I'm with you. I'm missing it already. Atlassian, if you're listening, please bring it back.
