Many of our users will create a comment, but when they paste a picture/screen shot (by keyboard or mouse) intermittently will receive an Upload box and if they upload the picture the text in the comments is overridden and deleted.
This is still an issue. Paste a picture from clipboard in at any time when writing a comment. When you click add, it uploads the image to the ticket and deletes all the text.
Hi Rylee,
Thanks for letting us know. This sounds like an issue we've seen before, but haven't had recent reports on. JSDSERVER-4788/JSDCLOUD-7132.
As a workaround, in order to attach an attachment before commenting;
We'll pass on your feedback to the bug fix team so they know it's still affecting customers. While we'd love to say this will be fixed soon, we're unable to give an estimate for fix as our bug fix team need to do an initial assessment and then prioritise the issue against our current backlog. If you want to be updated on the progress, feel free to add yourself as a watcher to the bug report.
If you have any other questions, please let us know and we'll be happy to help. Thanks again for letting us know!

Thank you, Syauqi for getting back to me last week regarding this issue.
It looks like currently the only workaround that keeps the picture to the specific comment is by including the screen shot as an attachment in the comment. If we paste the screen shot first, it requests for you to upload it, then adds to the attachments section and doesn't reflect back to the comment.
I tried it in the detail view as well, but it does the same thing.
Thank you again, for your time.

That's a viable workaround for now and since you mentioned that pasting wasn't working on detail view, would it be okay if we raise a support ticket and log into your instance to investigate and see if there is issue with your editor?

That would be awesome. I'm planning on doing a little more testing today to see if I can find any trends as this only happens sporadically.
Thank you for your assistance!
