We have an asset library for all of our users. One of the attributes on the Assets is "User Account" This is a User Type Attribute and through automation ties the user object to the users account in Jira.
What i am looking to do is use the AQL query filter to find a object based off of the User Accounts e-mail address.
Something along the lines of {{UserAccount.EmailAddress}} = Email@email.com.
This query as is, does not work so i clearly have it wrong. What Query would i need for this to work?
I also have an example where I have an Employee objectType with a User Type Attribute. Are you able to try AQL queries using the Advanced AQL option when you're filtering?
When I try "Jira User" = "myemail@companycom" I actually do bring myself back, which is kind of neat. I was expecting it to need a GUID or similar.
Are you trying it in the AQL filter or in a custom Assets field?
This works. Perfectly. Thank you! Cant believe i didn't try this to begin with.

Can you elaborate more, please.
Do you want to just search in Assets itself, then this is not possible what you want.
Or is it a assets custom field configuration ,based on another field, what is the purpose behind it.
