Add long description in request type

Hello,

We are about to update existing request type to add more explanation for a field.

Currently we have "Blinded Report" field with some additional description as follows:

Blinded Report (Mandatory)  **WARNING: If you select 'No', confirm that unblinded information is permitted to be shared with recipient

Search request type_Blinded Report field.png

We'll be updating this text to be much longer as follows:

Blinded Report (Mandatory): **WARNING: If you select 'No' and the intended recipient is Non-PV, confirm that unblinded information is permitted to be shared with the intended recipient and must include rationale in the below field.

Non PV recipient: Anyone who does NOT belong to any of the below categories:

  • Is an Astellas PV personnel (in central functions and affiliates) – (Internal – PV)
  • Is a Contractor / Vendor supporting Astellas PV (Internal – PV)
  • Any Company or a Vendor with whom Astellas does already have a Co-Development

agreement which includes sharing of unblinded data (Example: Pfizer and Seagen) - (External)

  • Health authority

When I try to enter all of the text in the "Portal field name" it only allows in the middle like screenshot below.

Search request type_Blinded Report field setting.png

Do we have alternative way to insert long text just above that field?

Thank you,

Takaki Ohashi

Hi @Takak Ohashi,

Just add the name of the field (Blinded report) in the Portal field name and the explanation in the Description field.

Hope this helps!

Thank you, Walter.

That worked and the whole explanation has appeared in the description area.

Thank you so much.
