Did you mean:

An error occured during the import process.

John Smith September 20, 2020

I tried to do an import from Jira on-prem to Jira Cloud and while doing so (and testing things) i must've imported in such a way the following error occurred:

An error occured during the import process.

Import again with a different backup file or get in touch with our support team. Include the steps you followed, along with any unique characteristics of your Jira setup.

  • Jira is locked for import but no import could be found. This is likely to be a temporary issue and should clear up within one minute. If you continue to see this error, please contact support.

Now i cannot do anything with my Jira cloud test instance. Can anyone in support reset it please ?

Thanks

@John Smith - have you filed a ticket with Atlassian Support yet? I would do that to be sure Atlassian can help you with your import. Good luck!

Hi Dave,

The free jira cloud instance doesn't come with atlassian support. You have to upgrade for that.

Thanks

Gotcha!

How long has your Cloud instance been inaccessible?

Cant remember how long, quite a while though.

@John Smith - were you importing users as part of your import? If so, this Community thread might be relevant to your situation.
