Hello,

How can I assign a ticket using round robin to a member of team, and the team is identified in a group custom field

whenever the value of the group picker custom field is changed it auto assigns again to a member of the new chosen team

without script runner :)

Hi @ibrahim.aly I'm not sure how the group picker part would work, but on your JSM cloud system, go take a look at the Automation section under Project Settings.  Click on 'Templates'.  In there you will find a template called 'When an issue is created - automatically assign using balanced workload'.  If you click on it, you will see the full automation, and under the 'Then: assign the issue to' section, you can see there's an option under 'Method to choose assignee' for 'Round Robin' and you can maintain a list of people to assign it to.

If you think that would work for you, you can turn on the automation.

If that won't work for you, maybe you can use it as a template to get you closer to your goal.

Hope that helps.

Hi @Dan Breyen

this is what iam doing now, but in this case I will have to create different branches for the rule based on the groups and according to each value I choose the groups in the assign action, I was looking to make one rule saying what ever the team in the custom field assign to members of that group
