Hi,
I've attempted to create an automation to update our JSM project when a linked ticket in our project CFCON is updated. I'm just looking for some advice if this is correct, or if there's a better/easier way to do this.
1. When CFCON is updated to Done, labels = released & production release date (custom field) is not empty THEN JSM ticket will update status & add comment.
2. When CFCON is updated to Done, labels = released & test release date (custom field) is not empty THEN JSM ticket will update status & add comment.
Welcome to the community. The rule seems to be correct. Have to try to execute the rule and validated the actual result yet? Another question, are the linked issues and targeted issues for comments/transitions all within the same JSM project?
If you have not tried to execute the rule yet, here is a recommended process for one to test out the rule using the audit log to support your testing where you can log action to the log and validate the rule results -

Please advise, so we can further recommend and provide better assessments.
Best, Joseph Chung Yin
Thanks Joseph! No, I haven't executed yet as I was concerned it may mess up the other project. No, sorry the linked issues are in a dev/jira project so not in JSM.
I'll check out the link, and give it a go.
