Hi there,
I have a custom field that displays assets assigned to a user. The field displays the Label from the object type and for the most part that is ok, but there is a particular object type where the Label is an ID and when you see it in a list it makes no sense.
Is there a way to display the item seen on the custom field as something other than the label in this instance?
Hi @Ste404
In the Asset field configuration you can choose which attributes you want to display on issues...
Under User interaction, select the Assets attributes that users can search for and those that will show on the issue view
You can find the full doc here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/set-up-the-assets-object-field/
I hope this help.
Dam.
Hey,
I have the same issue and I have selected multiple attributes under "Allow search filtering by these attributes" and "Object attributes to display on issue view", however, the list still shows only labels. Do you know the reason for it?
Thank you!

I have the same issue... It shows the asset Label, not the asset field that I select in this option:
"Under User interaction, select the Assets attributes that users can search for and those that will show on the issue view"

If you add additional object attributes to the Filter object with attributes they will show up in the selection box. You can change what attribute(s) show. Just add an additional one then remove label.
