Hello, i have a Problem regarding the Jira Automation, where i can't seem to delete multiple (or singluar for that matter) Requests at once. I have set up a Automation in Confluence to create Tickets in a Jira Paroject. When i create a new Space, there will be auto-created Tasks that will get created in this Jira-Project.
Now i want to delete these requests automatically, as to not overflow our Project with useless tasks. This doesn't work. I have created multiple automations that should delete any requests where {{issue.components.description}} or {{issue.description}} begins with or even contains the following text: "Klicken Sie auf das Stiftsymbol"
This does not work. It says in the Audit-Protocol that the Ticket did not pass the test, which is strange, because the request literally starts with this text. Does anybody have an idea why it's not working?
Hello @Flynn Rosenbohm
The audit log for your rule execution says that the issue that triggered the rule does not match the Condition you specified.
In the rule you showed us, the Condition you have specified is using the smart value for the issue Description field
{{issue.description}}
But the text you are looking for is in the issue Summary field.
Try changing the smart value in the Condition from {{issue.description}} to {{issue.Summary}}
Let us know if that resolves the issue.
Oh my God, yeah i think i got the two confused since we are speaking German here and i have to manually translate everything into english, as to get results faster. This worked, thank you for that! The correct Ticket now gets deleted, i just have to find the right trigger so all other similar requests are getting deleted aswell.
Thank you very much and sorry for my short-sightedness
