Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×I have an annoying issue that I have yet found an answer to. We are about to implement JIRA Service Desk in our organization and so far all looks good. However, the Help Center portal does not recommend knowledge base articles or related request types directly on the live search. However, pressing enter then it get suggested articles and request types . It feels like the "search before post action" is disabled by default but I can't find a way to turn it on.
I have seen this functionality on the demo's from Atlassian and I was under the assumption that it would work out of the box. I have tried different browsers but all test return the same result
Looks like this is a bug. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-3714
To be checked in your project settings / Knowledge base
- You linked the confluence space to your service desk project?
- What about the permission, can a user see your articles in confluence?
- Auto-search on request-forms is set to 'yes' ?

Hi Alex and thanks for you answer.
Yes, the knowledge base is linked, auto-search is enabled and user can see articles if they search, It's only the "search as you type" function that is not working.
