Hi guys,
Our Sysadmin team are on a different URL to our JIRA software cloud which has caused multiple log ins.
We want to know if we can copy over the URL to our JIRA software cloud account or if we have to just use the add on within our software JIRA and close the current URL.
If we did close the current service desk, do the users on JIRA software be billed as an agent as we would only have 4 agents in the company and rest of us would be customers.
Could you please advise on the best solution here?
Hi @Ravi Mistry. Your question is a bit confusing but it sounds like you have two cloud accounts and want to merge them. Is this the case? If so the steps to do so and you want/need to move project and issues over form the old one then I would likely export and import. Once you are happy with the results then simply delete all agents so that your cost is zero. In time you can delete your account.
Hi Jack,
Yes we have two URLs currently :-
Propsysadmin and Propeller
We are thinking of scrapping propsysadmin URL and moving this to one URL to Propeller one.
If i was to do this would i be able to have a selected amount of agents? For example we have 4 sysadmins who are agents on current URL.. I assume we would be billed for the agents and the rest of the users on existing system are then customers?

You are billed for active agents only. So if you remove all agents from propsysadmin then you will not be billed for that instance. Once done, to confirm, go to the billing section of that instance. I assume the agents that were in propsysadmin will need to be added to Propeller but that is for you to determine.

as for the Customers, you can leave or remove. they are free users.
