Hi Everyone!

I have two instances separate, a jira software and jira service desk, they are communicated when they are configured in the option "link to applications", but I need to create an automation in Jira Service Desk that allows from a state determinate to create a ticket in a Jira Software project, how can I do it?

Thanks

Hi @Proyectos Compartidos

This is a common use case for synchronization.

You'll be able to synchronize any issue data between your Jira Software and Jira Service Desk. As a result you'll be able to synchronize a ticket in your Jira Service Desk from your Jira Software instance.

This will happen in real-time. That way, you'll always be in the loop on progress status, comments, attachments and even work-logs or change history from your Jira Software as well (if that's what you want).

You'll be able to easily customize exactly what you'd like to sync and who you'd like to sync it with.

Like the following example. We used the Exalate Issue Sync app to do this.

We are the developers of the app. So let us know if you need any help setting it up.

If you want, I can show you exactly how it would work for your use case through a one-on-one demo. You can book one here: Book A Demo.

Cheers,
Stefaan

Hello Leo Diaz and Steffan

I  tested  the add-on, but these do not comply the need indicated above, I need to achieve the integration so that based on a certain state in the JSD workflow, a request is automatically created in JS. Is there another means by which this is possible?

Thanks regards.

@Proyectos Compartidos,

That's absolutely possible to do with Exalate.

You'll be able to start to synchronize an issue whenever appropriate. Either by using a post function in a transition or with a JQL.

It might be more intuitive for us to show you how to do this. I would highly recommend scheduling a quick demo to go over this. Does that sound good to you? Have a look at what time suits you best here: Book A Demo.

Cheers,

Stefaan
