I need to create a simple survey to get customers attending an event to complete and would like to do it using Atlassian products.
What is the easiest way to do this?
It would be great to give customers a QR code link to the survey and need to capture results in an Excel if possible.
With Jira Service Management, when an issue is resolved, an email is automatically dispatched to the customer. These surveys are always sent to the reporter of a ticket or a group of people after the ticket is solved (i.e CSATs)
I believe you’re looking for something more generic that is catered to a particular event/seminar as opposed to people involved a JSM ticket. As far as I know there isn’t a way to accomplish this using Jira Service Management – atleast not without an add on.
You also mentioned that you wanted to use Atlassian products to do this but then have the results captured in excel? I’m confused.
Why not approach this with a simple google survey form and then create/generate a custom QR code that simply links out to the survey in question, which you can supply to the event participants?
Best,
Hamza
Thanks Hamza - we had developed a form in Monday.com, but as a competitor product, I was keen to replicate in Atlassian for our partner event. They have a very simple WorkForms functionality that makes creating surveys a breeze. Would be great to see this replicated in Atlassian.

Out of the box, I am not aware CSAT function in JSM supports QR codes/capture results in Excel.
However in JSM, there is already a built-in CSAT process to process/capture customer satisfaction surveys + reporting - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/what-are-customer-satisfaction-surveys-csats/
Otherwise, you will need to search in Marketplace for possible third party add-ons (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/).
Hope this helps.

Thanks Viasat - it was more a generic survey than a CSAT. Perhaps marketplace would do the job.
