How to re-send the Migrated Customers around 5k invite emails in Jira service management

We are migrating from one different ticketing system to Jira service management, so while performing migration we want to keep the notification off and once the migration is done, we want to send out invitation emails to all the customers which are around 5000

I have searched over community I did not found any way yet to resend in a bulk because one by one sending emails notification to existing customers seems not feasible at this moment

Can you please suggest how it should be done?

@Lewis Tanguhwar Thanks, but are there any number of user limits/restrictions while selecting a group? basically, there should be one group called customers Service desk customers by default, so selecting it should send out a bulk email to all those 5000 customers? all those migrated customers are part of this group? or do I need to manually mark to these roles? Please suggest thanks in advance!

@Swapnil_Tandle  regarding the screenshot I think you might be better placed to know the users for each group and the groups that exist. I guess you might reach out to team members if you are unsure about this.

It is very possible to send bulk emails to a group(s).


As for the limit, personally, I am yet to come across a number as high as 5000 and have seen a situation of less than 5000.

I suggest you do it on a group basis or possibly find a way to make them in batches.

Worst-case scenario your team might have to reach out to Atlassian for a recommended way forward via a support ticket.

I am also keen to know how the final resolution,

I will also do some facts finding and will get back to you if I see other viable options.

maybe a 3rd app/service email integration might be helpful
