Our directory has users going back to 2015, we are looking to do a mass clean-up of the directory. When you delete an Atlassian account all Administrators will get an email that the account has been deleted and when the account is deleted (after the 14 days).
This is going to create a massive number of emails being generated. Is there any way to stop Administrators from getting notifications of deleted accounts or just to stop them for a period of time?
There is no way to prevent deactivation or deletion notifications from Atlassian. This requirement was raised 2 years ago but still has not been resolved yet.
Workaround suggested: filter out the emails by
Email titles: "Your Atlassian account has been deactivated", "Your Atlassian account will be permanently deleted"
Email senders: noreply+<letters and numbers>@am.atlassian.com
