We have over 1,000 users in our Jira Cloud directory that is sync'd to Active Directory.
Most of these users are customers in our primary JSM project. Even though the users are members of a required AD group, occasionally the sync from Azure to Jira doesn't indicate a user is a member of the required group. So in the JSM project they are not able to create issues or be added to issues.
We have a way to manually fix these occurances.
What I need is a way to proactively view all users in Jira who are not members of a particular group.
In cloud you will need to do a user export to CSV and when you do the export select group membership under additional data. Then you can find users missing groups in excel.
Thank you @Brant Schroeder
It was a bit more work than I wanted to do (we have many group membership variations) to isolate users not in a particular group, but the solution is solid.
Cheers 👍

As an alternative suggestion, that may or may not be feasible for you depending on your developer resources, you can build a page in your Jira or Confluence site, using Atlassian Forge, to show a list of these users.
