Hi all,
So in using JSM for a support desk that does 90% of it's work currently through phone communications. The current system they use has an automated system that will upon receiving the call from the customer, automatically open a ticket and populate the ticket with the customer information.
What solutions has anyone taking to replicate such actions?
Thanks,
Robert
Hi - I've been looking in the marketplace every few months for telephony integrations, and here is what I've seen in my last check that may help:
PingPilot's "Chat, SMS, Voice and Video for Jira Service Management"
The documentation page currently has a 404 error, but I'm hoping that this is something that will work for people.
Hello - is there anything new with this problem? I am looking for a solution, too...

Hi @Robert Nadon , did anything ever come of this solution wise? I have the same interest and need.

There may be some new plugins that accomplish this; however, we are implementing something simliar and our parent company is developing something specific to aid in phone support via JSM; I will ping them after the holidays to see if we can make it available in the marketplace.

Now that we're after the holidays (well, excepting Valentine's Day!) could you ping whoever to see when it might become available?
More than a few folks are looking to use JSM to run a call center.
TIA.

Out of the box this feature is not available. I suggest you look into the marketplace. One example: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215246/callcenter-for-jira-service-management?tab=overview&hosting=server
But this one works for server, you may want to inquire their plans for cloud.

HI @Fabian Lim , I did look out in the marketplace, and did find that one; however I do need cloud. I found nothing else so I posted here to see if anyone know of anything.
