I want to create a new SLA for a particular project and according to this article, it should be under Project Settings. Nope. I do not see SLA any where. Would appreciate borrowing someone's glasses because clearly I'm missing something. Thanks in advance.

Jason,
In order to setup and SLA it has to be a Jira Service Desk project. If it is a Jira Service Desk Project and you are a Project Admin you will see the following in Jira Cloud. You should see Service desk project at the top under the project name and then when you scroll down in the menu SLAs.
Bingo! Thanks Brant. The project I was looking at isn't a Service Desk project, hence the missing SLA option. Doh! Thanks again.

Wonder if there is a way to "bolt on" SLA option for non-Service Desk project via add-on?

Looks like there might be one or two - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=jira&query=SLA

Hi @Jason Sweet
To set SLA option for non-Service Desk project you can via add-on SLA Time and Report.
It lets create and track SLAs for issues in Jira Cloud.
This app lets you configure SLA Timer by Project, Issue Type, Priority and any other standard or custom field (like Assignee, Reporter, Start date, Labels etc.)
Beside it, the application counts SLA time for issues from Service Desk, but cannot configure it.
Hope it helps
