Hi,
Is there a way to send an e-mail to a user that is mentioned in a comment?
For example:
When "@jack can you comment on this ticket?" is entered in the comment, then i would like to auto send an e-mail to Jack containing the text from that comment.
I tried several solutions i found, but i can't get it to work.
Thx
It's fixed! Don't really know why but disabled and re-enabled several options en now it's working.
Thanx for the help.
Hello Jamie, would you mind sharing how you do it? thank you so much

Hi @Jamie Duikersloot
Welcome to the community!
You could call the REST API with a web request using the accountId, get the email address, and then send your custom message. Please note doing this means the user would get 2 emails per mention: one from the mention and one from the rule.
If you want to try this approach, here are some references to help you get started:

Thank you, i have found this one earlier. I'm a newbie with API and tried this. Didn't get it to work yet.
Expected a builtin feature that i missed to enable this.

This is already enabled for the assigned user. I don't see an option to enable this for mentioned users.
