×Hello,
We have various customers set up as Organisations.
I have added the Organisation field to my Queues.
Is it possible to Sort on this field?
I can see this question has been asked in the past, but couldn't see any answers.
Many Thanks.
As of now, Organization field is not supported for sorting.
I tried on advanced search and the message is Field 'Organizations' does not support sorting.
The command is "Order by" used to be in the end of the JQL.
I hope this helps

I venture to say that I found some solution:
How to sort and filter by organizations
1. Create a new "Custom Field" (Issues->Fields). Select the type "Label" - it is important!
So we have a new custom field / Type= Label / Name= Customer Group (or whatever).
2. Add this Field in the queue in JSM (edit queue -> in the "Columns" find your new Customer Field)
3. Write a rule for the JSM where you:
- add the "Organizations" field using report's e-mail domain,
- use Advanced branching to link the smart value {{issue.Organizations.name}} to the Variable name that you will use next (e.g. Organizations)
- in this branch add your new customer field (Customer Group) and specify your "Variable name" - (e.g. {{Organizations}} )
After that you can sort and even filter all your requests by this Column with the new customer field.
This works for me well.
