On the card layout on my JIRA board, yesterday I could see the assignee icons. However, today those icons are no longer visible on stories or bugs on the JIRA board.
This is very useful in getting a high level view of the sprint and who is working on what. Why is this missing?
Hi @Ashley Byrd ,
please verify that assignee is defined as field on a card (Board Settings -> Card Layout)
More information are available at the following link https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/customizing-cards-764478020.html
(Adding field to cards).
Ciao,
Fabio
I don't have it assigned as a field on the card, but we never have and have been able to view the icon still.
I tested it though, just to see, and it adds the full name if you have the assignee as the field on the card, not the icon.
With that said, I refreshed the page and the icons are back!
Must have been a bug. Thanks!

Ive noticed the last couple weeks that the icons sometimes have a gray overlay instead of showing the icons full color. Sounds like there is a bug affecting them like you said @Ashley Byrd

Same problem, and it's only for 2 people on our team - all other icons (colored with the initials) are still showing up fine. This started last week (before that, these 3 people's icons appeared fine)
I added the Assignee field to the card as suggested above, and the full name of the Assignee appears as an added field, but the same 2 people's icons are stlll not showing.
No changes have been made to these users. Any idea? Weird that it's not everyone - just these 2 users, and it's across all our projects.

I have the same issue, has this been resolved, and if yes, how do you correct this?
