Why don't you add to confluence to add a comment in editing?

Ramazan Kaan Karacan July 9, 2019

As an analysis department, we need this feature. For example, we make some reviews about our analysis documents on confluence. During review sessions, we want to edit them and also simultaneously we want to add some comments. Could you please add this feature on your roadmap? We will glad If you do that.

Best Regards,

Ramazan

What format are the documents? When you edit a confluence page you are able to add comments

Editing format of a confluence page. How can we add comment?

I mean that we want to add a comment in the same way as published page's double-click and then add comment feature. These comments are shown in the right side.

Bottom right of a page in edit mode:

Alternatively, if you're working with MS Office documents, just use Attachment Lists in Confluence, and use in-built commenting/review tools in Office

No we aren't working with MS Office documents.

Yes I know the field that you mentioned but It doesn't cover our requirement which is the ability to add a comment for a specific sentence or paragraph or title and it should be shown as same above.

The Brikit Theme Press addon allows you to add hidden fields in-line to a page, so they're only visible in edit view.

Have a look through the addons available in Marketplace if this still doesnt meet requirements, there's a huge amount out there

Could you please share the screenshots of your suggestions? Where can I find it?

Brikit example:

Alternatively, the change history macro might do the job for you:
