Your heap size is lower than the recommended size - Java Heap Size

Colin Black July 22, 2022

We have an existing cloud based JIRA instance, but we also have a bitbucket residing on an on-premise instance.

We plan on importing the on-premise version into the cloud based instance, and after running through a test pass, we have the one error that the cloud based instance may not have enough resources.

I am new to the configuration as the person who setup our cloud instance is no longer with the company, so I am wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to increase the heap size on the cloud instance.

Hi @Colin Black ,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!!!

Ideally you won't get this kind of error on Jira Cloud as it is managed by Atlassian, so we don't have visibility or access to change the heap size.

I strongly suggest you to raise a support ticket with Atlassian Support and provide all the details to them, they will able to help you out.

Regards,

Mayur

Thank you @Mayur Jadhav for the prompt reply.

Yes, I was a little confused, as being a cloud instance I didn't think we would have that control, I will reach out to support.
