Hi @Anupamshaw
In order to avoid those duplications in your assets, I think you could configure your "Host" object through "Attributes" button and change the attribute "Name" to be unique.
Also, you can configure your Assets import, on "Host" object and keep the attribute "Name" as the only identifier. So, for the next imports, Assets will identify your previously created server and just update it with the new information.
Thanks for the reply@Gustavo Delazari Borges If you will configure Your "host"object through "Attributes"and make "Name"or any attribute as unique then you will not be able to make duplicate asset having "Name"or that attribute as same,
but my ,doubt is that if i want to delete the pre-existing duplicate asset how to do that operation .
I know there is a Bulk delete option present but how to classify object which are duplicate on the basis of some attribute.

Hi @Anupamshaw
I just found out something that might help you. I was looking for some documentation related to your question and I found this:
It seems that this Assets Health Check can look through your objects and identify those who have the identifier attribute duplicated.
I have tested this and it brought me the "Host" objects that have same "Name".

So how to check the SQL query in the AQL field.
Please give a brief description about how and where we can check the SQL queries to find same name of the hosts.
Thanks

Hi Risikanta,
I don't think it is possible to query duplicated names through the AQL field.
You can do this directly through Jira database or you can use Assets health check as I indicated in the last reply.

Hi @Anupamshaw
Try to open the following url according to your Jira instance:
<Jira_base_URL>/secure/admin/InsightPluginHealthCheck.jspa
That will take you to the Insight (Assets) plugin health check page. There, you'll notice two configurations: "Assets Health Check" and "Import configuration - logical duplicates"
Try to use the second one, inform your Object schema ID and click on "Identify logical duplicates". Jira will show you a list of all objects that have a duplicated item. I believe that's what you are looking for.
I hope that helps.
Best regards.

@Gustavo Delazari Borges
Thank your reply helped a lot,
I am only able to use this document for data center ,but i am looking to do the same for the cloud part to delete duplicate asset.
can you please tell how to open Jira asset health checkup in cloud as the link
https://anupam-jira.atlassian.net/secure/admin/InsightPluginHealthCheck.jspa will not work .
only localhost:8080//secure/admin/InsightPluginHealthCheck.jspa will redirect to asset health checkup and there you can delete duplicate asset easily by choosing objectschema ,as same as our project schema
But how to go to asset health checkup in CLOUD that part i am not able to solve.
Thanks and regards

Hi @Anupamshaw ,
Sorry, but I couldn't find the same url for Jira Cloud platform in the Community and Documentation.
If you like to try, maybe a contact with Atlassian support might help finding this option.
