Hi @Farhaad_n
This is Majid @ Exalate.
Yes it is very possible to syncronize issues between Jira Software and Jira Service Desk. In fact, this is one of the most common use cases that we are seeing in the field these days. You can use our addon, Exalate, to fully synchronize Jira Software with JSD bidirectionally. You can use the no-code configuration to create custom field mappings and you should be up and running within few minutes.
Please feel free to book a personalized demo if you would like to see the product in action.
Thanks
Majid
Hi @Farhaad_n
Yes! There are a few Marketplace add-ons that support issue synchronization between Jira Service Management and Jira Software (also across Cloud/ Data Center/ Server hostings).
You can find their listing here.
My team is responsible for Issue Sync - Synchronization for Jira that allows you to integrate Service Desk and Software instances, create issues in remote projects automatically and keep them in sync also when ticket data (as field values, statuses, attachments or comments) change.
I encourage you to test the app for 30 days or book a free demo session with our support team via Calendly.
Good luck with finding the right solution!

2 question,
1. Add-on must be installed on both sides? or only one?
2. after installing I must be admin of hole Jira or an only a specific project that I want to sync?

@Farhaad_n hi.
1. no, ZigiOps is a stand-alone application, so you do not need to install it on either of the systems.
2. you do not need full Jira admin rights, you can administer just the project you want to sync.

@Farhaad_n hi there. Yes, you can connect the two and sync issues between them. If you're open to using an external tool, feel free to take a look at ZigiOps. It's a flexible, no-code integration tool that can easily connect Jira SD and Jira in just a few clicks. The tool allows customization so it can fit any use case. It reads schema dynamically and can transfer any type of field (and data). It establishes a bi-directional connection between the systems so you can sync a variety of data. Take a look at it and if you want to see it in action - you can book a demo.
