×Hey, hello guys!
I'm trying create a filter using "time to resolution" JQL. But looks like it doesn't exist. Can you guys give a help? I really need to search for my support tickets with "time to resolution" < 8h.
I already tried:
- "time to resolution" = < 8h
- "time to resolution" = reamaing("8h")
But jira answer me the filter does not exist or i have not permission to see, but I'm Jira Admin, this don't make sense.
Hi @Paulo Cipriani ,
What should give the jql?
For example this JQL, gives you all the tickets that didn't breached plus where time to resolution is less than 8h:
"Time to resolution" < remaining("8h") and "Time to resolution" != breached()
Hello Bastien!
The problem is "time to resolution" is not recognized by jira as a JQL. Any filter a tried to use "time to resolution" returns to me "time to resolution doesn't exist or you have no permission to view it"

Hi @Paulo Cipriani,
I see a lot of people are on it...
I assume as you can edit the SLAs you have all the right in the current project, so you can see "Time to Resolution" SLAs running into this projects tickets.
But, to be sure, are you sure the name of your SLA is "Time to Resolution"?

Bastien, your question makes a lot of sense, and helped me to find where's the problem, hahaha. At first, I thought "time to resolution" is a fixed field on Jira for JQL porposes, like 'status', 'statuscategory' or 'issuetype'. I didn't know that I was the one who defined the field name. My field call "Tempo de resolução", and not "time to resolution". Ty for your help!

Welcome to the community. Beside the typo in your JQL mentioned by one other user, here is an excellent reference written by SaaSJet market partner - https://community.atlassian.com/t5/App-Central/16-Most-Popular-JQL-Filters-for-SLAs-in-Jira-Cloud/ba-p/2333442
Hope this also helps.

Hi Paulo:
What kind of project is GOPME? Time to Resolution works only for JSM project where SLA configurations have been setup.
Best, Joseph

Hello Joseph!
GOPME is a JSM project. Actually, my setup for SLA is like the image.

Hello @Paulo Cipriani ,
There is a typo in "time to resolution" = reamaing("8h") it should be "time to resolution" = remaining("8h").
If this is not the case please provide the error that is returned.

Hello @Mazen Chmait_FusionTech Innovations_Marketplace Partner
Thank you for your answer. I wrote wrong. When I write on search:
"project = GOPME and "time to resolution" = remaining("8h")", Jira returns me: "time to resolution doesn't exist or you have no permission to view it".

Hi @Paulo Cipriani ,
Can you try restricting the JQL to a certain project and verify if that works for you?
If not, please attach a screenshot of the query page and the error so we may better understand the issue here.
Thanks!

Hello @Mohamed Riza _ServiceRocket_
Thank you for your answer! Restrict JQL to a certain project doesn't work for me.
