I am using an interface to an IBMi product which was working fine. It has now stopped working with the following error in the Rest api logs.
PLUGIN_LICENSE_ERROR","message":"The Parent Link is only available to Jira Premium users."}}
Did something change on the free version recently
Thanks
Kevin
With a free tier you can go up to Epic, you cannot have anything above, so you should be able to leverage Parent link from Task to Epic but not on the epic.

Hmm this is odd it was working - I've upgraded to the paid plan and still I get this error in my rest api logs - and no data of course

Are you querying a company managed or Team managed project ? What is the end point you are calling ?

I've tried this with a new company managed project - still getting the same.

Not sure to understand, what is the endpoint to call on JIRA side that answer you this message ?

I'm told by Jira tech people that it has to do with the Parent Link and that the interface should not use it. "Seeing how you are on the Standard offerings for now Kevin, please rest assured that you can safely ignore the field for now, and that it would have no bearings on your operation as long as you do not want to use the Advanced Roadmaps offering (via a Jira Premium subscription)"

You are right, this page summarize the change from Epic Link and Parent Link move to Parent.

Thank you Florian for taking the time to go thru this with me.
It has taken some time to be implemented - I need to get my interface updated as suggested by the Jira Tech's and ignore the parent link for Free/Standard
Thanks again
