I keep running out of emails on the free plan. If I hook up my own email server will that fix the problem or do I need to purchase a plan?
The only issue I have with purchasing a plan is that we are not using that many emails I have a lot of junk emails that I close tickets on because we are using a distribution to create tickets and many people use the distribution improperly.
Sorry for asking, but is not clear for me your question.
Free tier has 2 options: using the cloud email that is already configured in your project by default, and you need to associate a Request Type to receive those e-mails (with few fields, as summary, description and attachments).
Option 2: use your own email server, also associated to a Email request type.
