Security level default value not editable

Sólrún Ásta Björnsdóttir June 27, 2022

Hi Jira community,

I need assistance with a problem I am facing with Jira Service Management after recent update.

I have always been able to edit Security level on Request Type level by adding the field and set predefined value (default value for hidden field), that would define the security level.

However, right now Jira is not allowing me to update the security level on the issue view screen. I have the permission set for my user in the permission schema and I am also the org admin so that should not be the problem.

Can someone assist me on this?

Kind regards!

As you can see on the picture I do not have the option to set the default value.

Hi @Sólrún Ásta Björnsdóttir really sorry about this. This is a known issue that we are working on as a matter of urgency. That said, I'd rather you not experience this bug a moment longer so could you share the url of your tenant with me? We will turn off the new experience on your instance for now while we resolve this.

You can add it as a comment or email me at jgonsalkorale@atlassian.com.

Best regards,
