Hi,
What we are missing in JIRA is a REAL SelfService portal. So not a simple popup with "maybe you are looking for this" kind a stuff.
But one where you can help the customer fill in the correct form and/or guide him to a site or page depending on some basic questions.
This might help to prevent some tickets to be posted and also a happier customer.
A JIRA portal now is more like: OK you have a problem, please select one of these forms and enter your data.
But we want to ask some questions and use a flow like to be sure we help the customer quickly and he is providing the correct and needed data
Quick example of a password issue:
- Click on the topic you have a problem with? / clicked on "password"
- Is your password locked or did you forgot it ? / clicked on "locked"
- Did you already tried the self-unlock tool ? / clicked on "Yes"
- Is it urgent ? / clicked on "NO"
- OK fill in this UNLOCK FORM and we will help you as soon as possible
-----
I know its not possible in JIRA, but are there solutions, did someone tried something similar? Maybe with SharePoint in front or any other webbased based solution?
The client should log in of course, but it can' t be a software solution with license cost per client
thx,Serge
Hi @Serge_tkint
Based on a provided example i think that this addon can help you.
Using it you can configure a dynamic form based on a user answers. It can help you guide a user through all required steps and acchieve your goal.
No, not really.
This just makes your forms flexible but setting up bunch of flows with several different outcomes can't be done with that.
DynForms will be handy at the end when the form has to be filled in and you can fine tune input fields.
But the way to that form is what i am looking for. Something that comes close to the behaviour of a robo chatbox helping out on FAQ.
But of course that is also not what i am looking for.
