Send a notification e-mail to user inputted email address

Hi!

I am setting up a JSD request form and I have a field where the user will enter the e-mail address of an 'approver'. This approver is an external user and does not have a Jira account. I would like to send an e-mail notification or copy of this request to the user inputted e-mail address when a request is lodged. Is this possible to do without an add-on?

So I assume built-in Approval feature won't work for you? If not you will need to consider an addon like Automation for Jira which allows you to send a notification to a non-customer/user.
