I have a request to link our JSM instance with a client so that both of us have access to update and visibility into an issue.
Essentially, the client will enter an issue into our portal and rather than manually duplicating the issue in THEIR instance (for internal tracking purposes), we would like our issue to show up in their instance. They can then update it as needed and see all of our updates without going to the portal.
I know we can link instances, but I'm wondering if we need an add-on or to use Application Links.
Also, we have specific custom fields for our company that we would not want them to be able to see or update. How would we limit this if our instances are linked? And how do we limit the entire systems to ensure the client can only see and update THEIR issues and certain fields?
