×I'm having problems with an automation rule that uses IF/ELSE blocks. I've previously been told that I need to explicitly use an ELSE.
I don't need the last ELSE block to do anything - if I get to the end of the rule and none of the IFs have trigger, I want no action to occur.
When adding the ELSE, I'm led to believe by one bit of text that it "can be left blank if it is the last else block", but when I do so I get a "block cannot be empty" warning. What am I doing wrong?
As a workaround I've given the last ELSE block an associated action to add a value to the audit log, but that doesn't seem desirable behaviour.
Hi Nick,
When hovering over the final ELSE block, do you see the "X" option to delete this block? (See screenshot below.)
If you try removing only the final ELSE block (not the earlier IF-ELSE blocks) and republishing the rule, does the rule behave as expected for you?
Hope that helps!
Cheers,
Charlie
