SubTasks for Epics

Can we create SubTasks under an Epic? I can only add Child Issues on Epics.

If not how do I filter out the Child Issues that is associated to an Epics? Query below will only filter subtasks.

-> You can use this query: "Epic Link" IS NOT EMPTY

Thanks! "Epic Link" = EMPTY  is exactly what i needed in my query.
