Hi there,
I have an automation that creates a subtask from a main ticket and has the linked issues in place so when the subtask is created it shows the parent ticket as a linked issue.
The problem is on the parent ticket there is a link to the subtask and directly below it the linked issue link to the subtask.
This is fine from the subtask side of things as it only shows the parent link but on the parent ticket two links is awful.
Any suggestions on how to get around this on the parent ticket level?
Hi @Ste404 ,
Why do you need to have a linked issue from sub-task to parent? For quick access parent issue from subtask or any things else? If the reason for quick access only, I think you do not have to create a linked issue, they change the parent link to the top of issue, above the summary.
Hi @Ste404
When you create a sub-tasks they are automatically set as child , there is not need to link them as a linked issue.
What does the automation rule you use for this look like?
