There is an add on that allows comments being seen only by a specific group of users?

I've been asked for an add on that put like a security scheme on comments. It means comments should being seen by only a group of users and not all.

There is something like that?

Hi @Sofia Grunspan

You dont need add on for that, jira does provide this feature out of the box. Please check this article & you should be able to configure it.

Hi @Vishal thanks for answer, but the article you sent me says it's for Server and data center and for Jira Software or Core. I'm working on Cloud and in Jira Service Management.

Hi @Sofia Grunspan

It applier to your cloud as well, just create a specific project role whom you want to show the comments & then assign the role to your selected users & just protect the comment for the project role. Should work in cloud as well.

At JSM Cloud, the screen is a bit different, and no lock available:

You can manage internal and external (customer) view of comments. If it's required to differ multiple internal views, you can use the issue security feature to restrict access to issues to selected service agents.
