Situation:
I made a new request type, and based it on a wrong issue type, by mistake.
Now three Issues have been submitted, and needs to be moved to my new request type (based on the correct issue type).
Issue:
When using bulk change I cannot change the Request Type of these three Issues.
I can only change the Issue Type.
When moving Issues I also cannot change the request type.
Result:
I now have a request type I cannot delete without also deleting the Issues associated with it.
Hi @Rune Rasmussen ,
Before moving issues to a new request type, you have e to make sure that they have the proper issue type. If they have, then moving it should be easy. If they don't, then you have to change their issue type first (to match the issue type of the new request type), and after to change their request type.
Yes.
When first bulk changing Issue Type I for some reason managed to only change two out of the three.
Then when I tried to bulk change all three they had different Issue Types, and changing the Request Type was not available.
I couldn't see the forrest for all the trees.

Did you manage to change the request types after all?

Yes. All is good now.
I didn't do it through Bulk Change, but on each individual Issue.
I first noticed that one of the ones changed to the new Issue Type had an extra field for "Request Type".
It was only after changing the first two I noticed that the third one still had the wrong Issue Type.
