When you are in the backlog view list of issues do you have any best practices to show such statuses

Great Ancheta June 23, 2022

I spend a lot of time opening the tickets not in current sprint just to check progress of ticket in description only to find out a developer is still working on technical discovery or I was waiting for someone to get back to me so I can update the ticket.

In the backlog view, is there a better to quickly see like a sub status of a ticket  for tickets not in the current sprint without opening the ticket to see details ?

prioritization finished

BA review finished

Developer review finished

Etc

Hi @Great Ancheta,

Create a second (probably kanban) board with exactly the same issues you have in your scrum board. Just map the statuses you list in your question to the columns of that kanban board:

  •  prioritization finished
  • BA review finished
  • Developer review finished
  • etc

Then, on your scrum board only map the status that indicates issues are ready to be added to a sprint to the backlog column. That way, you should end up with a nice, kanban view of all the analysis and review work on one board and your scrum board will have a backlog containing just the issues that are ready to be planned.

Hope this helps!
