Hi Team,
When user update the ticket, we would like customer to receive the notification in the portal.
I tried to update the ticket but from the customer view i do not receive any notification about the ticket.
*Note:
I've turned on all notifications under project setting>customer notifications but i believe the notifications are for mailing purpose only.
Please advise.
Hi,
I don't believe that there is a feature like you are describing for notification. The only notification is via email as set up in "Customer Notifications". You can configure webhook notifications via the Automation set up in Jira service desk.
Hope that helps
Susan
Hi Susan,
Please advise how would customer check their ticket update in attached page if customer do not access their email to check the update but only login to the JIRA page to check their ticket status.
Is there any pop up notification to alert customer that something is changed in their ticket? Like in the highlighted area?
We hope we could be able to see the notification as below:

Hi,
You can achieve this with a new add-on In-App Customer Portal Notifications for Jira
Add-on has an advanced configuration for each Jira project and is very convenient for portal customers.
Support is very helpful and is in search of new features, so your suggestions will be welcomed.
